BHC MEDIA, Nevis August 17 – According to reliable sources, police officers are investigating the reported burning of four boats belonging to the Islander Watersports Fleet, owned by Wincent Perkins on Nevis.
Three of the four boats have been totally destroyed after they were reportedly set alight at close to midnight.
No one was hurt in the incident , however the estimated value of the destroyed boats is set at US$400,000.
According to Winn Fm, “efforts to reach the fire chief and the Commanding Officer of the Nevis Division, were unsuccessful at news time Monday morning (August 17).”
BHC Media has been also been unable to reach the fire chief for more details on this incident.
Islander Watersports, as the name suggests, specializes in water sports but also offers private and scheduled water taxi services between Qualie Beach in Nevis and Reggae Beach in St. Kitts.
